TRCA Logo Use and Corporate Templates Task
At its meeting on July 20, 2018 the TRCA Board of Directors approved a recommendation to adopt a refreshed TRCA logo (see report).
The new logo replaces the words “For The Living City” with “Authority” so that the logo now reflects the full name of the organization: Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. The new logo also includes minor graphic refinements, as follows:
Effective immediately, the old logo should not be used in any documents. The new version of the logo is available to staff via SharePoint.
For usage instructions, please refer to the Visual Identity Guide:

These materials are standardized for the entire organization regardless of division, business unit or program. They are available for staff to use, and are not to be redesigned.
All other external-facing materials that include the TRCA logo must be designed by the Communications, Marketing and Events business unit. This includes all brochures, flyers, posters, web pages, signs, reports, etc.
This refresh is part of an overall initiative to strengthen TRCA’s brand in the communities we serve by expressing who we are and what we do more clearly and consistently. It is accompanied by the introduction of a new, standardized graphic treatment for TRCA locations and programs, as a key element of developing a TRCA masterbrand. Directors and key staff have been consulted about the development of these logos. Those that are finalized are available for your information HERE. If you have questions about how a particular program or location is graphically represented, please contact the Communications, Marketing and Events business unit.
We have already initiated the process to replace prominent signs that include the TRCA logo, and are working through our online materials to replace online logos as quickly as possible.
The Communications, Marketing and Events business unit is fully engaged in rolling out TRCA’s visual identity as effectively and quickly as possible. If you have any questions, or require assistance in developing materials that include the TRCA logo, please contact Michael Bortolussi or Laura Vanderluit.
Your support in this important initiative is very much appreciated.
