Risk Toolkits
All staff have a role to play in managing the various risks that come about in our work, and in helping to build a risk-aware culture here at TRCA. In order to better equip project and program management staff in the identification, evaluation and management of risks in their operations, the Risk Management team has developed several toolkits staff can use to help control some of the uncertainties facing their work.
The first group of toolkits includes:
- Project Risk Evaluation Toolkit: a tool designed to be used by project management staff to help guide a basic risk assessment process for a project of simple to medium complexity.
- Risk Register Template and accompanying Guide to Completing a Risk Register: a tool to be used to document project or program risks, their likelihood and severity as well as potential treatment options and priorities. Details on how to use the register template are included in the Guide
- Facility Hazard Assessment Template: A template that can be used by any facility manager to undertake an assessment of hazards within their facility.
We’ve also included a handy introduction to insurance and surety presentation, which includes an overview of coverage concepts as well as a glossary of common insurance terms.
