Call for Projects – Funding Opportunity

SOI Budget and Survey Due: May 20, 12:00PM

The measures put in place to contain the spread of COVID-19 have led to an unprecedented shutdown across Canada, and significant federal stimulus spending will be needed to rebuild the Canadian economy over the long-term.

Our Living Waters (OLW) is compiling a list of shovel-ready projects to submit to the federal government for consideration for funding. OLW is looking for projects that will deliver both economic and water security benefits while building our collective resilience to Canada’s increasingly complex water challenges. Projects must be capable of commencing within 12 months.

In order to help compile the list, OLW is asking proponents to fill in a survey outlining high-level details of qualified projects.

Please complete a standard SOI budget template (NOT the SOI form) as well as the attached survey and return to Max Smith (max.smith@trca.ca) by Wednesday, May 20 at noon if you are interested in submitting a project for consideration. OLW has not given us much time to submit, so late submissions cannot be considered.
