Good afternoon TRCA Staff,

We are pleased to announce the release of a new course offerings in TRCA’s Learning Management System. Courses can be found under Learning Management System (LMS) > Course Catalog:

 

  • Lunch and Learn: Mental Health Awareness (May 25, 2022: 12:00p.m – 1:00p.m.)
  • Presented by ComPsych
  • This training is designed to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and to promote ways of supporting one another in the workplace. The session will address signs and symptoms of distress and effective ways of providing support for co[1]workers. The training also will include exercises to develop these skills.
  • GreenBiz Best Practices in Water Manager and Efficiency (May 31, 2022: 8:30a.m – 10:00a.m.)
  • Presented in collaboration with Partners and Project Green, and GreenBiz
  • This webinar will be a hands-on, tactical workshop on water efficiency best practices.
  • Climate Considerations for Management of Natural Features (June 02, 2022: 12:00p.m. – 1:00p.m.)
  • Presented in collaboration with STEP, and Credit Valley Conservation (CVC)
    • This webinar will showcase some of CVC’s recent work evaluating long-term climate trends in the watershed and discuss how these trends are impacting the natural heritage system.
  • GreenBiz Best Practices in Energy Management and Low Carbon Transportation (June 07, 2022: 8:30a.m – 10:00a.m.)
  • Presented in collaboration with Partners and Project Green, and GreenBiz
  • This webinar will be an informative session on energy management best practices and low carbon transportation opportunities for your business.
  • Vancouver’s Green Infrastructure Maintenance and Rehabilitation Program (June 09, 2022: 12:30p.m – 1:00p.m.)
  • Presented in collaboration with STEP, and City of Vancouver
  • This presentation will provide an overview of two new programs started by the city’s Green Infrastructure Implementation team in 2021, Green Infrastructure Operation & Maintenance, and Rehabilitation of Bioretention Assets, covering the challenges, successes and lessons learned.
  • Lunch and Learn: Etobicoke Creek Water Quality Modeling (June 15, 2022: 11:00a.m – 12:00p.m.)
  • Presented by TRCA’s Development and Engineering Services division
  • This webinar is about the process-based integrated watershed modelling that was developed as part of the Etobicoke Creek Watershed Plan to study the impacts of future climate change and land use scenarios on the water quality of Etobicoke Creek watershed.
  • CVC Ecosystem Offsetting Guidelines (June 23, 2022: 12:00p.m – 1:00p.m.)
  • Presented in collaboration with STEP, and Credit Valley Conservation (CVC)
  • This presentation will discuss ecosystem offsetting, its principles and the approach provided in CVC’s Ecosystem Offsetting Guideline.
  • LDD Moth Training (Webinar Recording)
  • Recording of webinar from March 30, 2021. Note this recording is always available on the LMS for enrollment.
  • This presentation is intended to increase knowledge on LDD Moth ecology and management options
