JHA Review Courses- Release #2

Good morning TRCA Staff,

As outlined in the last COR training Module — Health and Safety Job Hazard Assessment and Control located on our Learning Management System (LMS) in Ceridian Dayforce, employees will be required to review specific Job Hazard Assessments (JHA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) applicable to their position.

Today on Dec 14, 2021, the second batch of 5 JHA’s and SWP’s will be available on the LMS for review. All employees will be automatically assigned a set of job specific JHA e-learning courses based on what supervisors have identified is required for each of their respective positions. Each course will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Employees will receive a separate email notification for each JHA e-learning course they have been assigned to from notify@dayforce.com. Note: there is no audio/voice over narration and review of the information is to be done as outlined in the COR training Module — Health and Safety Job Hazard Assessment and Control.

How to Launch the Training in LMS:

The email notification will include a link to launch the training. Please ensure that your preferred browser is set to Chrome or Firefox, so that the training successfully launches. If you would like to use Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer, please ensure that it is the most recent version of the browser.

After initially accessing the course through the notify@dayforce.com link, you will find the course under “My Courses and Learning Plans” in Ceridian Dayforce. Also attached and available on the H&S Central Repository is a tip sheet on how to navigate through the JHA course.

JHA e-learning modules are to be completed in a timely manner or as indicated by your supervisor. All employees and supervisors will receive automatic reminder emails after 10, 13, 15 and 17 days if assigned JHA courses have not been completed to assist in the timely completion of these courses.
