Funding Opportunity – Trans Canada Trail Capital Improvement Program

Trans Canada Trail (TCT) has announced that they are now accepting applications for funding through the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) on a rolling basis. TRCA will be conducting an internal review of proposals after the SOI deadline of August 31 – however, anyone interested in submitting an application after this date is encouraged to contact the Funding and Grants Coordinator.

The Capital Improvement Program funds various projects, including: design, planning, and studies; construction; trail maintenance; signage; and more.

Maximum funding amounts, matching funding requirements, and other details vary depending upon the type of project submitted. Please refer to the attached guidelines for more details, and set an appointment with the Funding and Grants Coordinator to discuss potential projects before submitting an SOI.

If you are interested in applying, please submit your SOI no later than August 31. Applicants will be required to discuss their projects with a representative from TCT to ensure project eligibility.
