Funding Opportunity – Solutions Labs

Solutions Labs provides funding for solutions labs addressing challenges in housing, including affordability, social inclusion, Indigenous housing, and environmental sustainability.

The program supports a variety of expenses including research, ethnographic studies, and interviews; social media and graphic design; consultant fees; event planning and facilitation; knowledge transfer (including video production, reports, etc.); and stakeholder participation, accommodation, transportation, and expert per diems.

All Solutions Labs projects must include a Solution Lab Consultant. Proponents will receive funding from CMHC to work with leading affordable housing stakeholders and Solutions Lab Consultants to address key challenges. Anticipated budgets for Solutions Labs projects will range from $25,000 to $250,000.
