Funding Opportunity – National Greening Program

Maximum request: 10 to 80 acres, 8,000 to 65,000 trees ($1-2 per tree)

SOI Deadline: January 18

Tree Canada’s National Greening Program supports large-scale tree planting projects, supporting landowners in their tree planting projects where there is a need for forest rehabilitation, afforestation or ecosystem restoration.

Areas of high environmental value and/or subjected to natural-caused disturbances will receive the highest priority.

Spring planting must be completed by June 15, 2021 and fall planting must be completed by September 30, 2021. Scalable projects are encouraged – please specify the maximum number of trees that can be planted.
