Funding Opportunity – Greening Action Partnership Fund

Maximum funding amount: $5,000, maximum 2 projects per organization

Statement of Interest due: February 5

York Region’s Greening Action Partnership Fund supports Greening Strategy projects involving community environmental action. Greening Strategy projects are designed to increase awareness of the benefits of green infrastructure through environmental education, inspire action, and provide opportunities that support grassroots environmental action.

Priority projects include those that: contribute to the Regional Greenlands System; expand existing forest; and provide/enhance wildlife habitat, particularly for Species at Risk (SAR).
