The Grassland Stewardship Initiative is a habitat restoration initiative implemented by Grasslands Ontario, a division of Forests Ontario.   • Promote greater public awareness and appreciation of grasslands within Ontario and the species which inhabit grasslands;
  • Create, maintain, and enhance grassland habitat through management practices and activities for Bobolink and Eastern Meadowlark within suitable areas in Ontario;
  • Develop partnerships within the agricultural community and seek new partnerships with other sectors and organizations to advance the objectives of the GSI.
