Funding Opportunity – EcoAction Community Funding Program

EcoAction Community Funding Program (EcoAction) is a national program that funds local action-based projects that produce measurable, positive effects on the environment.

The maximum EcoAction funding is $100,000 per project; the minimum funding amount request is $25,000 per project for a maximum duration of 36 months. A minimum of 50% of the total project value must come from sources other than the Government of Canada.

Your project must include one related priority result:

  1. Canadians contribute to the improvement of water quality through the diversion and reduction of harmful substances in freshwater OR
  2. Canadians contribute to improvement of freshwater management and increase climate resilience through action involving the development and/or restoration of natural infrastructure
