Potential School Closures

In anticipation of potential strike action and Ontario school closures commencing on November 21, 2022, TRCA continues to recognize that employees may be actively seeking to make last minute childcare accommodations. Please continue to work directly with your manager to help make suitable arrangements for your specific situations.

In the event of school closures, TRCA will be offering Fresh Air Day Camps for children at the Kortright Centre for Conservation and Tommy Thompson Park. More information and registration will be available at Outdoor Camps – Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). Education and Training staff are currently updating information on offerings, so please continue to check back regularly for updates. TRCA staff are eligible to receive 10% off the registration fee using the code TRCASTAFF.
