Standard Operating Procedures
- Each year, the Communications, Marketing and Events business unit will work with your team to identify major marketing projects, programs, and activities requiring support.
- For major photography/videography initiatives that are new or additional to the annual plan, schedule a meeting with a Communications, Marketing and Events project manager early in your planning.
- Complete Photography Request form or Video Services Request form for all projects and include a shot list.
- You will receive notification within two business days that your project has been received and an estimate requested.
- Your photography/videography project manager may require further information about the project. Once the estimate is approved, the booking will be scheduled.
- A signed photo release form is required from any member of the public who is recognizable in a TRCA photo or video that may be published. It is the responsibility of the business unit requesting photography/videography to provide adequate staffing to ensure a photo release is completed and signed by any individual (or in the case of children, a parent or legal guardian) who will be recognizable in a photo or video. Forms are available here for groups and individuals.
- A photo release form that applies to TRCA, as well as to partner organizations’ use of photos, is also available. If photos are taken at a TRCA-partnered event, please include the name of the partner(s) on the form.
