Lead Time
Notify TRCA’s Media Relations Specialist as early as possible about the initiative for which you are seeking media relations support. Upon determining that the initiative has been prioritized for media relations support, the Media Relations Specialist will work with the appropriate TRCA staff members to determine which communications materials and methods are most likely to help achieve project goals.
The following lead times are required for communications materials. Please note that not all communications materials may be needed, depending on the nature of the project.

For a media release announcing the details of a major event, notice is required at least eight weeks before the scheduled event. |
