Responsibilities

For digital media services, Communications, Marketing and Events is accountable for:
  • TRCA adherence to accessibility (AODA) and TRCA brand standards, and legal consent and privacy requirements for online media
  • TRCA adherence to high-quality standards including clarity of messages, proper grammar and spelling and, in collaboration with project leads, accuracy of information
  • Alignment of TRCA digitally published marketing content with TRCA’s vision, mission, and strategic goals
  • Ensuring that TRCA digitally published marketing materials are resourced, scheduled and maintained in ways that best support the interests of the organization as a whole
For digital media services, Communications, Marketing and Events commits to:
  • Review all request submissions and respond with next steps within two business days
  • Make prompt recommendations that may improve the effectiveness or reduce the cost of any requested digital media project
  • Provide project leads with time and cost estimates and notify of any changes to these, for any reason, as soon as practicable
  • Develop RFPs/RFIs, oversee product evaluations, coordinate product and service selections, and ensure that pricing and terms and conditions for supplier contracts meet TRCA’s procurement standards while achieving optimal results
  • Make timely decisions and act to ensure the quickest possible execution of all approved digital media projects
  • Respond promptly when project leads identify issues or concerns pertaining to a digital media project
  • Obtain project lead approval for new content before publication
  • Notify project leads as soon as practicable when new digital media content is posted
