Event Services:
- Event consultation – Provide advice and planning services to ensure events are as effective as possible
- New event development – Evaluate new event ideas, help to fine-tune them to determine their viability, and prepare event business plans to help drive event proposals through the approvals process
- Dignitary protocol and procedures – Lead the planning and implementation of the dignitary program component of events (e.g. speeches, ribbon cutting, etc.)
- Event resources and supplies inventory – Manage the Corporate Event Resources booking system and inventory
- Budget planning – Assist with the development of event budgets
- Event planning and coordination – Provide tools and resources, including vendor contacts, checklists, and event plans, to create efficiencies, and provide direction on assigning roles and responsibilities within the core event team
- Leading signature events – Create, coordinate, and implement signature TRCA events
Events Lead Time:
For repeated (annual events) to be planned by TRCA, information is to be provided through the Event Request/Support form no later than six months prior to the event start date. For proposed new events, information is to be provided through the Event Request/Support form no later than 12 months prior to the event start date, to allow time for budget approval. You will receive a response to your request from a member of the Events team within two business days.
