 Outlook Migration Update

Today, Monday April 22nd our 74 Champions started using Outlook as their email and calendar software.  The team was busy all weekend preparing for the migration.  The email for all users started to migrate from Lotus Notes to Outlook at 6:00 pm on Sunday evening and finished at 12:30 am Monday morning.  The Champions started using Outlook Monday morning, familiarizing themselves with all the new functionality. 

We ran into a few small issues with a couple of individuals email and calendar and we are working to understand and resolve these issues prior to the all TRCA migration.  Overall, we are very pleased with the migration and how well all the champions were able to get going in Outlook.  Now that the champions have been through the experience, they will be ready to help the rest of the organization when we all go live. 

This week we will be making some adjustments to the migration to resolve any issues we discovered during the champions migration.  We are also working on addressing a couple of things that will work differently once everyone is in Outlook. 

Thanks for being patient and letting the champions migrate first, allowing for a much smoother migration for everyone else.
