Lotus Notes Support Update
February 15, 2019
As many of you know and experience every day, Lotus Notes Applications and Databases are part of many business processes across TRCA. At the time when we adopted Notes it allowed us to move from a paper based organization into the computer age. As an organization we have outgrown Notes and are in the process of moving off of Notes towards more current and modern systems.
In the coming months you will find updates on this journey here on the ITM Hub. Today I want to update everyone on the change we made this week regarding Notes Support. Effective February 14th 2019 all requests for support regarding Lotus Notes are to be sent to the ITM Service Desk. The easiest way to let us know how we can help is to use our online portal which you can find at this link. Once on the portal simply click on the Lotus Notes Request link and let us know how we can help.
I also want to let everyone know that our ITM team will be providing support by fixing bugs and errors as well as applying any legislative changes to the applications. We will not be making an functional changes to the systems as all functional changes are frozen as we are in the process of working with business leaders to move Lotus Notes applications to new software and platforms.
Thank you for your support and being part of our journey to our shared digital future.
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out to me directly.
