November 30, 2022

November 30 is National Construction Day, an opportunity to recognize construction staff across Canada for their innovation, creativity, and overall impact on our communities.

With more than 1.5 million Canadians working in the construction sector, it’s clear that the industry is full of opportunities to develop diverse skills and contribute to projects that are instrumental to this country’s economic success. The industry attracts talented, dedicated, and hard-working individuals who take pride in their work and share a commitment to safety and professional growth.

Today, the Restoration and Infrastructure Division would like to recognize TRCA’s Construction Services team and celebrate their accomplishments.

Construction Services projects mitigate hazard risks to communities, protect the natural environment, and deliver solutions that directly address the challenges posed by climate change.

With an ever-growing slate of projects on the horizon, ranging from remediating erosion hazards and protecting public spaces to creating and maintaining trails and enhancing natural habitats, there will be endless opportunities for TRCA’s Construction Services team to improve the lives of residents in our region for years to come.

From the Restoration and Infrastructure Division, a sincere thanks goes out to our passionate and dedicated Construction Services team, which plays an integral role in the delivery of TRCA projects that work toward maintaining healthy rivers, shorelines, green spaces, and biodiversity, ultimately promoting sustainable and resilient communities across the region.
