Funding Opportunity – Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF)

United Way’s ECSF will support community organizations in delivering services to meet the needs of individuals and families living on low or limited income; experiencing the greatest barriers to accessing services and supports; living in neighbourhoods most affected by the pandemic; and/or disproportionately affected by the pandemic (including equity-seeking populations).

Supported services must be completed by March 31 2021. The program will support: food security; financial wellness; health and hygiene; home care or personal support services; information and navigation; legal supports; mental health and wellness; shelter, safety, social inclusion and learning; and transportation.

The following approaches will be supported:

• Community outreach and engagement;
• Delivering models, tools, programming, services or resources;
• Disseminating information and knowledge;

The eligibility criteria of this grant are quite narrow. Before you submit an SOI, please contact the Funding and Grants Coordinator at max.smith@trca.ca.
