Forwarding Your Voicemail from Mitel Office Phone to your mobile phone Task
If you will not be at your desk to receive phone calls on your office phone, please ensure that you forward your calls to your TRCA mobile device, if applicable.
To forward your calls to your mobile device, follow the steps below:
- Open MiCollab Client.
- Click on your name and go to Manage Account.
- Click on the Plus button (+) at the top right of the Phone Numbers menu to bring up the Add Phone Number window.
- In the Description field, enter: Cellphone. In the Number field, enter your mobile phone number. Be sure to add a 9 in front of the number: 9XXXXXXXXX.
- Click Save — but do not select Publish.
- Close this window.
- Click on your name again and go to Manage Statuses.
- Click the New button at the bottom right.
- Assign a name for this status (“Forward calls to cell phone,” or similar) and select the settings shown below.
- Click on Save to complete the setup.*
*Don’t forget to switch your status back to “In the office” when you return.
