Responsibilities

For print marketing, the Communications, Marketing and Events business unit is accountable for:
  • TRCA print material adherence to accessibility (AODA) and TRCA brand standards
  • TRCA print material adherence to high-quality standards including clarity of message, proper grammar and spelling and, in collaboration with project leads, accuracy of information
  • Ensuring all TRCA’s print materials are produced cost-effectively and in a manner consistent with its conservation mission
  • Ensuring that TRCA print material production is resourced, scheduled and managed in ways that best support the needs of the organization as a whole
For print marketing, the Communications, Marketing and Events team commits to:
  • Review all print marketing request submissions and respond with next steps within two business days
  • Make prompt recommendations that may improve the effectiveness or reduce the cost of any requested print marketing project
  • Provide project leads with production time and cost estimates and notify of any changes to these, for any reason, as soon as practicable
  • Make timely decisions and act to ensure the quickest possible execution of all approved print marketing projects
  • Respond promptly when project leads identify issues or concerns pertaining to a print marketing project
  • Obtain project lead approval for content before sending materials for printing
  • Notify project leads as soon as practicable when printed materials are delivered
  • Maintain a roster of qualified print vendors and external designers for use should demand exceed in-house capacity
