The full name of the organization must appear as “Toronto and Region Conservation Authority”. In a document, letter, report, or any other written format, the first mention of the organization must be “Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA)”, and any subsequent mentions can be “TRCA”.
Never use “the” before “Toronto and Region Conservation Authority” and/or “TRCA”.
