Latornell Conservation Symposium Registration 2019
September 18, 2019
The Latornell Conservation Symposium, one of Ontario’s premier annual environmental events, will be held at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort & Convention Centre in Alliston, Ontario. The 26th edition of the Symposium will be held from November 19th to 21st, 2019. The Symposium provides a forum for practitioners, policy makers, non-government organizations, academics and businesses to network and discuss the challenges and opportunities in Ontario’s conservation field.
This year’s theme is Currents of Change. Many of today’s economic, environmental, and social challenges are impacting the health of Ontario’s natural resources and creating the need for us to re-think traditional approaches. To ensure healthy watersheds and people, we need to continue to look forward, adapt and find innovative new ways to protect our critical natural resources.
Should you be interested in attending, please submit a DES Service Desk Professional Development Request for your managers approval by Wednesday September 25th, 2019. Please include a two to three sentence rationale for how this learning would benefit you in your position and your business unit.
We will be submitting a group registration for The Development and Engineering Services Division on Thursday September 26th so Manager approval to attend needs to be granted by Wednesday September 25, 2019.
