TRCA Highlights Important Role of Conservation Authorities

On September 10, 2019 Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) hosted staff from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF), as well as Ontario’s Special Advisor on flooding, Doug McNeil.

TRCA staff highlighted the important role Conservation Authorities play in flood risk management, flood remediation, policy and land use planning in Ontario.

The group also toured flood vulnerable areas and active projects in TRCA’s jurisdiction.
