Mandatory TRCA Indigenous Awareness Training

Good morning TRCA Staff,

We are pleased to launch TRCA’s mandatory Indigenous Awareness Training via our Learning Management System (LMS) in Ceridian Dayforce.

This training focuses on building knowledge of Indigenous populations, relationships, and engagement and building of relationships. It will provide participants knowledge on how to interact and engage with Indigenous communities to align with TRCA’s purpose and strategic direction. Training content and design was developed by Cambium Indigenous Professional Services, Canada’s leading Indigenous advisory consultants. A uniquely all Indigenous owned and operated consulting firm located in Curve Lake First Nation, Ontario.

ALL employees will receive an email notification indicating the launch of the course from notify@dayforce.com. Please note that this course is mandatory and must be completed by December 16, 2022.

How to Launch the Training in LMS:

The email notification will include a link to launch the training. Please ensure that your preferred browser is set to Chrome or Firefox, so that the training successfully launches. If you would like to use Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer, please ensure that it is the most recent version of the browser.

After initially accessing the course through the notify@dayforce.com link, you will find the course under “My Courses and Learning Plans” in Ceridian Dayforce.
