Provincial Day of Mourning

Good afternoon TRCA employees,

Earlier today, the Canadian Government announced a one-time federal holiday on Monday, September 19^th to mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth.

In response, the Province issued a statement noting that Ontario will mark the occasion as a Provincial Day of Mourning, in lieu of a provincial holiday.

Based on these statements, TRCA will remain open and staff that are scheduled to work on September 19^th are expected to be at their work sites.
