The City of Toronto – Community Planting and Stewardship Grant (2022) is now open.

Funding Amount: $5,000 to $100,000
Statement of Interest (SOI) due: July 29, 2022

The City of Toronto is investing in tree planting and stewardship on private land to help enhance and expand our urban forest and improve the health of the environment.

The Community Planting and Stewardship Grant supports partnerships and collaborations with homeowners, landowners, and non-profits to advance the City’s strategic canopy cover priorities.

Between $5,000 and $100,000 is available through this funding program, with a 50% (i.e., $1 for every $1 received) cash or in-kind match requirement. Grant funding is for projects up to 12 months in duration (taking place between January and December 2023).

Please submit your Statement of Interest (SOI) through the Grant Centre no later than Friday, July 29.
