Restoration and Infrastructure’s Contract Administration team is led by James Dickie, with the assistance of Engineering Technologists Alex Barber and Ahmed Al-Allo.

The team, within R&I’s Construction Services Business Unit, has been providing R&I contract administration support since 2019.

Contract administration work might not get all the glory — but the behind-the-scenes efforts are essential to TRCA’s success.

The Contract Administration team has accomplished many achievements in the development of estimates, procurement of construction materials, and management of service contracts.

Some of the highlights include:

Establishing and managing Vendor of Records (VOR) within the R&I Division. The team has established and is currently managing more than a dozen VOR contracts to facilitate the continuous supply of materials and services to active TRCA construction sites.

Procuring construction materials and services for TRCA construction projects. In 2020 alone, the Contract Administration team procured more than $20 million of aggregates for many TRCA construction projects, including high profile projects such as:

Providing support and collaborating with other divisions across TRCA, the Contract Administration team ensures the successful delivery of each R&I project, focusing on quality work from our contractors as well as ensuring timely delivery of construction materials to TRCA construction sites.
