Staff Working in TRCA Parks and Lands
August 5, 2021
TRCA Conservation Parks and Lands are in peak operating season right now. Things are busier than ever as COVID restrictions lessen and people seek out natural spaces to recreate and socialize.
We know that many of your programs and projects are in full swing, too, and we are so grateful for all the work that your teams do to enhance our parks and lands.
Our request of you and your teams: Please send an email to all the appropriate facility contacts (see contact list below) to provide advance notice that you will be working at our parks or lands.
This will allow us to communicate key staff contacts while you are on site, emergency procedures, and exclusion areas that may impact your project schedules.
We’d also love to be able to coordinate 10-15 minutes of shared learning time so that our staff teams can learn more about what you are doing at our facility. This will allow us to better answer visitor questions and will provide better awareness of other TRCA programs and services.
Contact List
*Please contact the assigned backup if you get an out-of-office notification on the primary contact.
Some things come up quickly and we understand that advance notice is not always feasible. Please try your best to give us as much advance notice as possible so that we can all operate safely and effectively.
We are also committing to advise you of any activities that will exclude you from certain areas of our facilities with as much advance notice as possible. But you never know when the Prime Minister will want to visit again.
Please reach out to any of the Conservation Parks and Lands leadership team if you have any questions. Thank you for your cooperation.
