Funding Opportunity – Intersectoral Action Fund

Maximum Funding Amount: $250,000 (requests above $100,000 require consultation prior to SOI submission)

The Intersectoral Action Fund will support communities to build capacity for intersectoral action on the social determinants of health (i.e., the conditions into which we are born, live, grow, work, play and age).

The fund will support projects in three streams:

(1) Identify priority areas for collective action on social determinants of health and wellbeing

(2) Foster transformative partnerships to facilitate action on social determinants of health and wellbeing

(3) Build capacity to take action on social determinants of health and wellbeing

Eligible projects must include a partnership with an intersectoral partner (e.g., if TRCA is an environmental agency, our partner could be in public health, education, etc.) as well as a partner/letter of support from a community member/group with lived experience in the project area.

Please submit your Statement of Interest through the Grant Centre no later than June 18.
